Age is just a number...but then again..😀.
My wife and I began cycling (bicycling) almost 15 years ago after moving to Florida to pursue a semi tropical lifestyle with water sports (surfing, kayaking...) being our intended sports for fun based fitness.
But, bicycling chose us. We saw people bicycling on the beach, we had some older mountain bikes at home, went and got them, the rest is history. We still surf, kayak, and etc. but cycling has surfaced as our primary fitness outlet. And, we've discovered that it's a supremely enjoyable sport and hobby.
We've upgraded our quiver and we now have 3 bikes each (not including the original (moth balled) mountain bikes. (Interestingly the sand and salt took its toll on those rusting/breaking spokes, chains wearing completely out...).
