Blogging for Accountability (heavier...)
Putting my current situation with my goals and intents on a blog for the WORLD to see forces me to confront the REAL situation and how serious I REALLY am at achieving my goals and following through with my intentions. And, this is healthy I think.
I see in the pictures and videos I upload that my skateboarding style is not as "pretty" as I'd like to think, or rather even as I was fooling myself into thinking. I intend to improve that.
(I also plan to improve the quality of my photo's and videos.)
Also, my (call-it-what-it-is) belly is shameful; mostly because it has been a "goal" of mine to eliminate it for well over a decade now, and I haven't done it. Is it even possible at 67 years old? Well, together we'll see.
All of this feels very personal to reveal, but it occurs to me that some people (political figures and celebrities of all sorts) are very courageous to "put themselves out there". They don't hide their identities, appearances, activities, and endeavors from the WORLD. So, I guess it's not so unusual to put one's self out there like this.
